"The main theme of my art has always been the quiet moments in nature. I try to present the viewer with serene images of the natural world, allowing them to feel the solitude of the outdoors. I consider myself foremost a landscape artist, but will often include wildlife or perhaps a human element in my painting. This is done primarily for the purpose of achieving balance, or an interesting focal point. My compositions are meant to awaken one's emotions, while allowing the viewer the opportunity to reflect on their own experiences in nature."
